After contracting covid for the second time and spending Christmas confined, the actress and comedian has been in charge of presenting the Telecinco New Year's Eve program with Carlos Sobera. The woman from Cádiz has directed the space from Vejer de la Frontera with two spectacular looks that fulfilled what she already anticipated: she would be striking, sexy and daring. The designer from La Mancha Alejandro de Miguel has been in charge of creating both dresses, and also the piece that Anna Padilla, Paz's daughter, has worn tonight.

From princess to movie star

As Cristina Pedroche and herself did before the chimes of 2019, Paz Padilla wanted to celebrate New Year's Eve with a detachable look. First, she has worn a princess dress with a tight body, marked shoulder pads and a voluminous skirt made with "30 meters of tulle and thousands of aurora borealis crystals", as she explains to HELLO! the designer. He also tells us that Paz wears it as a coat and that, when opened at the back, reveals the second of the outfits, an asymmetrical "silhouette dress" with transparencies and embroidery that enhanced her silhouette and gave her the aura of a movie star. .

1,200 hours of craftsmanship

"Dressing Paz Padilla to receive the new year was an early Christmas gift", confesses this couturier whom she blindly trusts. In fact, a few days ago the presenter stated that "all her dresses make you feel like a princess", although without a doubt tonight's looks, which have transformed her into a spectacular bride twice over, have especially succeeded. As Alejandro de Miguel tells us, as soon as they received the tulle and unwrapped it, they went to work in their workshop. "Quickly we began to give shape to Paz's dream in my workshop. 1,200 hours of work and 15 dressmakers including cutters, seamstresses and embroiderers. I infected them with my enthusiasm, as usual," she recalls.

Anna Padilla's 'disco' minidress

"I'm lucky to always work like this. In this case, Paz conveyed an idea to me and I shaped it pin by pin until I created that elegant princess dress and sexy", she says about the designs, inspired by the light of southern Andalusia, the comedian's homeland. Equally luminous, although much more disco-like, is the dress that her daughter, Anna Padilla, has worn this December 31st. Made with silver sequins and crystal fringes, it connects with her mother's dresses thanks to the eighties shoulder pads. Like the two looks of the actress, it is made by hand and exclusively for this occasion. As the designer tells us, and mother and daughter show when they wear them, "they are designed to succeed on a magical night."
