In the house of France in Mexico City, the details of the 12th edition were announced. of My French Film Festival, which will allow everyone in the world, especially from Mexico, to share their love for French cinema and enjoy it online, the selected films are subtitled in Spanish. The 2022 selection is based on themes representative of the diversity and vitality of French-speaking cinema, the objective is to introduce the new generations of filmmakers. The 27 titles that comprise the selection of films for Mexico can be enjoyed in a variety of platforms for the Mexican public to enjoy French films from the comfort of their home, such as myfrenchfilmfestival.com, YouTube, Dailymotion, Apple TV, Cinépolis Klic, Filminlatino, Mubi and moreliafilmfest.com, from January 14 to February 14 for free.

Michelle Couttolenc: Passionate about sound and cinema since she was 14 years old, Michelle Couttolenc is a sound mixer. He studied sound in France, specializing in sound mixing, with the aim of being able to intensify the emotion of the viewer. His career includes more than 100 films, including: Pan's Labyrinth, Güeros, Silent Light, Je ne suis plus là.He has won the Mexican Award for Best Sound 6 times, and in April 2021 he won the Oscar®, the BAFTA, the CAS and the AMPS for the film Sound of Metal. When he's not in the mixing room, Michelle enjoys spending time with her family and eating desserts. Joachim Lafosse: Joachim Lafosse was born in 1975 in Brussels. After graduating from IAD, he directed his first feature, Folie Privée (in competition at Locarno) in 2003. In 2006, he directed Ça rend heureux (in competition at Locarno) and Nue propriété with Isabelle Huppert (in competition at Venice). In 2007, he directed Elève Libre (Directors' Fortnight). Joachim Lafosse's reputation grows from film to film, as evidenced by the national and international popularity of À perdre la raison (presented in Un certain regard and winner of the acting award for Émilie Dequenne). In 2015, he directed Les Chevaliers blancs with Vincent Lindon, Valérie Donzelli, Louise Bourgoin, Reda Kateb, presented in Toronto – 2015 (Best Director Award). L'Économie du couple (Quinzaine des Réalisateurs), with Bérénice Bejo and Cédric Kahn, was very well received by critics and the public. In 2021, Les Intranquilles with Leïla Bekhti and Damien Bonnard was at the Cannes International Film Festival.Filippo Meneghetti: Originally from Padua (Italy), Filippo Meneghetti's first experience was working in the New York independent film circuit. After studying film and anthropology in Rome, he worked as a first assistant. He then turned to directing with the short films Undici (co-directed with Piero Tomaselli), L'intruso and La bête, selected and awarded at dozens of international festivals. In 2019, he directed his first feature, Two, which after its premiere at TIFF, was noticed at more than eighty festivals around the world and sold in thirty countries. Deux received more than twenty-five awards in France and internationally, including the César for Best First Feature and two Lumière Awards (Best First Feature and Best Actress). The film was nominated at the Golden Globes for Best Foreign Film and was chosen by France as a candidate for the 2021 Oscars. Since 2013, Filippo has lived and worked in France. Santiago Mitre: Santiago Miter was born in Buenos Aires in 1980. After studying film, he began his directing career in 2004, as co-writer and co-director. In 2011, he directed his first feature The Student, which won the Special Jury Prize at the Locarno Film Festival. His second feature, Paulina, was selected for the Cannes Critics' Week, where it won the Grand Prix and the FIPRESCI Prize. El Presidente (La Cordillera), his third feature film, was presented in the Un Certain Regard section in 2017, and was a box office success in Argentina. In 2021, he shoots his first non-Argentine film, Petite fleur, in various locations in France, with a cast that mixes Argentine and French actors. He is currently in the post-production phase of 1985, Argentina, a historical film about the biggest trial in Argentine history, starring Ricardo Darín, and produced by Amazon Studio. Daphne Patakia: is a Belgian-Greek actress. He grew up in Brussels (Belgium) and studied acting at the National Theater of Greece in Athens, graduating in 2013. He then acted in several Greek films and was awarded the Shooting Stars at the Berlinale in 2016. The following year, he acted the leading role in Tony Gatlif's film Djam, presented in the Official Section of the Cannes International Film Festival. In 2018, she starred for Yorgos Lanthimos in the short film Nimic alongside Matt Dillon. A year later, he acted in the series UFO(s) with Melvil Poupaud. In 2021, Daphne Patakia is participating in competition at the Cannes Film Festival with Paul Verhoeven's Benedetta alongside Virginie Efira.
