Lamar Odom pays tribute to his late friend and teammate Kobe Bryant on the second anniversary of his death.
The former Laker showed a custom hanging necklace made by Scobie da Jeweler that represents the late NBA legend and her daughter, Gianna, who were among the nine people who died in a fatal helicopter accident on January 26, 2020.
The back of the piece is inscribed with a famous Bryant appointment: "Rest in the end, not in the middle".
Odom, 42, revealed that his management ordered the sentimental piece in honor of his special friendship with Bryant both inside and outside the court.
"I'm crying," Odom wrote on Instagram on Wednesday."Understand that Kobe meant the world for me and doing this as a constant reminder to move forward leaves me speechless.".

Scoobie da Jeweler called the commission "very close to [His] heart", as well as his "favorite piece to date", and shared some words on social networks about Bryant's inspiring presence.
“Kobe showed us a [sic] path to unlock your interior more [sic] beast to reach that wild potential.He has inspired many not only when using his career in basketball, but remembering the book that gave us all a model for success, ”he wrote.
"I attribute my now successful jewelry career to Kobe Bryant and his teachings and mentality that he kindly shared with the world".
