98% of the 2.2 million euros available from Parenthesis Aid is the percentage that the Paterna City Council has executed to promote the economic recovery of the city and help the commercial, hospitality and local business sectors most affected by the pandemic.
With this objective, and as explained by the mayor and head of the Business area, Juan Antonio Sagredo, "up to four calls for these aids have been taken out and managed to inject them directly into paternal establishments until practically exhausting the item of this line of subsidies ".
In this sense, the first mayor has highlighted "the important role carried out in the municipal management of Parenthesis Aid and the great work carried out by the Business Service, which has allowed them to grant almost all of the 2.2 million euros to 900 different economic activities, in order to reach a good part of our companies and entrepreneurs and reactivate the local economy”.
In this regard, Sagredo has also highlighted that "with the aim that the benefits had these aids as soon as possible, in each call several partial lists have been made to pay the aid even if the call was still open".
As for the activities by sectors that have applied for and obtained a greater number of these aids, there are the hotel and catering sector, the retail trade, hairdressing and aesthetics, and tourism.
