Paterna will convert Lloma Largo-Valterna into a 30 neighborhood to limit the circulation speed
The municipal plenary of the City Council of Paterna has approved a motion for the signaling and limitation of speed in the neighborhood of Lloma Long-Valterna.The motion presented by the PP, municipal, was agreed and approved by all political groups.
This neighborhood, one of the most population density in Paterna, has a serious problem such as parking and circulation to the unique meaning of practically all its streets.
The neighbors, on many occasions, have to park on the sidewalks, making it difficult for the vision of passers -by when they are going to cross, with the danger that this entails.Another danger is the poor signage of pedestrian crossings, which should also be marked with vertical light signal, especially in the main streets.For them the neighbors have asked to limit the speed of circulation throughout the neighborhood.
The motion requested long-value quelloma is a 'neighborhood 30 km/h' on a single lane roads.It also requested that, once the aforementioned speed limit is applied, the need for the installation of light signals in pedestrian steps is valued within 6 months, for better vision of drivers.
The mayor of PP de Paterna María Dolores Rodríguez has affirmed that the proposal of the PP “attends ñas neighborhood claims, proposing measures that protect the neighbors and continue working for road safety that reduces the human failure to the minimum necessary”.
