Yes, the permit for adoption, guardianship for the purpose of adoption, or fostering, both temporary and permanent, will have a duration of sixteen weeks. As when it comes to a birth, the first six weeks will in any case be mandatory rest.
After this period, from now on, the remaining 10 weeks may be used as appropriate and in an interrupted manner until twelve months have elapsed. The term will begin to count, at the parent's choice, from the administrative decision or from the judicial resolution, without in any case the same minor being able to give the right to several periods of enjoyment of this permit.
If before the adoption, they had to travel to the child's country of origin, they are also entitled to a permit of up to two months with only the basic remuneration.
