Although Senator Fidel Zavala (PPQ) made an offer of alimony consisting of G. 10 million per month. This is not yet an acknowledgment of the minor's paternity, but a precautionary measure as a result of what the DNA test that the congressman underwent on July 26 determined.
This means that the senator has not yet accepted or confirmed paternity, but instead offers to pay food assistance in advance “just in case”, so that if it is confirmed that he is the father, he will have an initiative to support him.
If the DNA result is negative, the benefit is cut off, said Dr. Eva de Witte, lawyer for the 25-year-old girl who filed the filiation action against Zavala.

As the lawyer explained, the results are still not in, since 15 days have not yet elapsed since Zavala took the test. In the laboratory they specified that the study would be ready in a minimum period of 15 days and a maximum of 30 days.

In mid-July, the judge for Children and Adolescents Graciela Rolón admitted the claim for acknowledgment of parentage filed against Senator Fidel Zavala by a 25-year-old girl that she attributes to the parliamentarian the paternity of his son born last April.
According to the lawyer Eva de Witte, who filed the action, four years ago Zavala began a relationship with the young woman and as a result of this union a boy was born last April.

The lawsuit specifies that, despite taking charge of all expenses and even being a joint and several co-debtor in the rental contract for the apartment in which he lives, the parliamentarian refused to assume the paternity of the child.
Given this circumstance, on June 30, the mother was forced to register her son alone and is now going to court to demand that Zavala do the same.
Invoice for clinical analysis, gynecological consultations, receipt issued by the Migone Sanatorium, contract (joint and joint debtor) and rent invoice in the name of the parliamentarian have been added by the plaintiff as elements of proof.
