The Avuc de Paterna neighborhood association claims a comprehensive sidewalk plan in La Canyada

La Asociación Vecinal de Urbanizaciones La Cañada (AVUC) solicita que el Ayuntamiento dePaterna presente un plan integral de aceras que mejore la accesibilidad de la Canyada.As they explain, "there is a large number that are raised or deteriorated, forcing pedestrians to walk with caution for the danger of falls they suppose".

El pasado mes de noviembre se convocó una manifestación, que contó con el respaldo de más de 12 asociaciones vecinales dePaterna y, con 200 asistentes, para reclamar aceras accesibles, limpieza en las calles y la retirada de escombros.

La asociación vecinal considera que "es necesario aprovechar ahora la oportunidad de los fondos de la Unión Europea" y, para ello, trabajará en exigir al Ayuntamiento dePaterna que presente un plan integral de aceras para Montecañada y para todos los barrios de La Canyada.
